Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various tasks on-site, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong work ethic, the ability to follow instructions, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
Duties
1. Assist in the preparation and cleaning of work sites
2. Carry out manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving materials
3. Operate basic machinery and tools as required, following safety protocols
4. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
5. Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere to health and safety regulations
6. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas
Experience
1. Previous experience in a labouring or construction role is essential, including experience in roofing and/or bricklaying
2. Familiarity with basic hand tools and machinery is advantageous
3. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated
4. Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform manual tasks for extended periods
5. A valid driving licence is a plus but not mandatory
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday 08:00-16:00
