Role Purpose We are seeking an experienced Senior Development Manager to oversee and deliver large-scale projects ranging from £20m to £500m. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in development management and/or project management, strong leadership skills, and the ability to navigate the complex development lifecycle. You will need to be well versed in the property development process, be able to lead project teams autonomously and report effectively internally to the business' leadership team and externally to clients. We are a market leading Development Management business working on a fantastic project pipeline in partnership with great organisations in London and across the UK. We are excited to be growing our project portfolio across Offices, Residential, Lifescience and Hotel projects and have a great opportunity to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage the entire lifecycle of office development projects from inception to completion. • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met. • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively. • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to inform decision-making. • Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and sustainability standards. • Foster strong relationships with clients, investors, and community representatives. • Mentor and guide junior team members. • Report to external clients, investors and partners on project status. General • Helping with bidding and securing new projects • Providing effective client relationship management • Being active in the industry to build both your personal and company's brand, market knowledge and relationships Technical: • Capable of managing Excel development models • Proficient in creating and managing development appraisals to inform decision making • Capable of creating reports and delivering presentations • A good handle on costs and values • A good understanding of the planning and development process Person Specification/Requirements • Bachelor's degree in a related field. • Significant years of experience in development and/or project management. Open to wider skillbase. • Proven experience delivering projects valued between £20m and £500m. • Strong understanding of the UK property market and development regulations. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
