Role Definition: The successful candidate would be working as part of a team responsible for providing breakfast and lunch service to approx. 300 employees each day. Ensuring internal customer needs are met at all times whilst ensuring full compliance with Food Safety and Hygiene standards. Key Responsibilities: Ensure breakfast and lunch service is provided in a timely manner and to a good standard Ensuring vending machines are stocked up, in good working order and cleaned daily. Prepare food for external visitors to site as and when requested Assist with basic food preparation activities Ensuring all equipment and tableware is cleaned thoroughly Ensuring kitchen area is always kept clean Always comply with Food Safety regulations Will be required to complete Food Safety - Level 2. Ensuring excellent customer service Carry out all procedures in a safe manner in accordance with the attached Health and Safety responsibilities Consistently meet and achieve the internal customer and site product specifications for quality and presentation Personal Attributes: Good organisational skills Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines Focused on delivery. Able to work under own initiative Be a team player Have basic understanding of Food Safety you will attend training as part of your role to achieve Level 2 Food Safety Can do attitude with good communication skills and a basic understanding of verbal and written English Knowledge/Skills/Qualifications: Self-motivated with a positive outlook Focus on attention to detail and maintaining high standards.
