Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine drive to foster the development of young children. You will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that encourages learning through play, exploration, and creativity.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement engaging educational programmes tailored to the needs of children aged 0-5 years.
2. Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere for all children in your care.
3. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development.
4. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to education.
5. Manage classroom behaviour positively, promoting respect and cooperation among children.
6. Lead activities that encourage social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through play-based learning.
7. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and attendance in accordance with regulatory requirements.
8. Collaborate with other educators and staff to create a cohesive learning environment across the nursery.
Requirements
1. A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience in childcare settings is essential.
2. Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or educational setting is highly desirable.
3. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children and families.
4. Demonstrated leadership abilities to manage classroom dynamics and support fellow educators when necessary.
5. A genuine passion for early childhood education and the drive to inspire young learners.
6. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative when required.
7. Knowledge of child development theories and best practices in early years education is advantageous.

Pay: Up to £12,480.00 per year
