With a strong history of growth and opportunity, they are now seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to join their team, focusing specifically on House Building and Construction. Main Duties and Responsibilities Develop and execute strategies to sell building materials and secure specifications within the House Building sector. Demonstrate success in building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in the house building and construction industries. Negotiate and close deals with decision makers, ensuring the delivery of profitable agreements. Work closely with Area Sales Managers and Key Supply Chain Partners to drive successful outcomes. Bring a strategic mindset and market insight to identify growth opportunities and deliver on targets. Utilise your strong understanding of construction methods, both on-site and off-site, to provide valuable insights and solutions to clients. Requirements Proven experience in Business Development or Sales within the House Building or Construction sector, with a track record of success in selling building materials or gaining specifications. Strong knowledge of construction methods and processes, both on and off-site. Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to close deals at a senior level. Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. A strategic thinker with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
