As we continue to grow, we are now seeking to strengthen our Consenting & Environment team with a Principal EIA Consultant – Planning and EIA at our Newcastle (Horsley), Aberystwyth, Glasgow, Stirling, Castle Douglas, or Inverness office.
Our Team is led by the Director of Onshore Consenting and Environment, and supported by a number of Technical Directors, Associate Technical Directors, Principals, Seniors, Consultants, and Assistant Consultants. This hierarchy provides both top-down and bottom-up support as well as a clear path for personal growth within Natural Power.
We are a collaborative and open team who encourage individuals to maximize their potential and enable them to contribute towards the success of the projects we are working on. We have flexible working hours and an excellent compensation package in terms of salary and other benefits.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
* Provide planning and consenting advice on projects where required;
* Provide EIA coordination services for large scale renewable energy projects;
* Provide Project Direction on renewable energy projects;
* Ensure governance and quality assurance of projects;
* Write and review proposals for projects;
* Contribute to the business development and growth of the business;
* Manage a number of senior consultants/consultants within the team; and provide mentoring and upskilling of our Team.

This is a Permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
