About the role:
With ambitious growth plans over the next 5 years, we need a capable individual to provide a key support role to the product marketing function of the Attachments division. The role requires a product orientated individual with strong business acumen. It is essential we develop our products to meet the changing needs of all industries we sell into and our customers’ requirements to ensure that we stay ahead of the competition and grow our business and range globally. An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Product Specialist within the Attachments Division, reporting to the Product Manager - Attachment. The Product Specialist role is a key position within the Attachments Division and is an integral part of driving product growth.
What does this role involve day to day?
1. Be the technical specialist and point of contact for our global manufacturing / product teams
2. Support all aspects of marketing as part of the new product introduction process (NPI)
3. Capture the voice of the customer / regional requirements - feed into the NPI process to develop the product range to better serve the needs of the customer
4. Produce creative briefs and conduct photography / video shoots to support marketing materials
5. Conduct market and competitor research to identify new market and product opportunities
6. Carry out competitor benchmarking and content generation for sell against materials
7. Produce relevant training materials and provide regional training support
8. Provide industry application knowledge and be the subject matter expert for BHL applications
9. Carry out product installations and conduct product demonstrations
This will be suited to you if
1. You have knowledge of the product marketing function with the ability to work cohesively with the commercial team to construct, analyse and present business cases
2. You have a good appreciation for all industries we operate within (Construction, Agriculture etc..), with a strong interest in product marketing and innovation
3. You’re a strong team player with the ability to communicate at all levels across the business
4. You act as a company ambassador and also be willing to travel worldwide when required, although the position will be based at the World Parts Centre, Uttoxeter, Staffordshire
5. You’re self-motivated with a sense of urgency and a keen attention to detail
