Set up in 2010, BakeAway is a UK manufacturer specialising in pastry and dough products. BakeAway is a market leader in private label, collaborating with retail and foodservice partners to deliver high-quality and delicious Pastry and Pancake products for major retailers.
The role
This is a full-time permanent role for a National Account Manager, based on-site in Corby reporting directly to a SNAM. As National Account Manager you will be responsible for managing operational sales and developing relationships with key national accounts within the Pastry and Pancakes markets.
You will develop new growth opportunities with these existing customers and take responsibility for driving sales growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Daily tasks include day to day interactions with key customers (buyer, development manager, supply chain, NPD and technical), collaborating with internal teams to ensure servicing of customers in the most economical and effective way, tracking your accounts performance KPIs (Sales, Price/Margin, USW, distribution, wastage, promotional effectiveness, service levels, instore presence) and ascertaining action plans to improve the performance of sales or NPD innovation with the customers.

A highly personable, ambitious and commercially sound individual looking to progress their career within the FMCG industry.
Someone who has already gained invaluable experience in sales and account management within the FMCG world and be ready to jump right in and hit the ground running with new product launches, promotions and pricing/terms negotiations whilst building trusted and long term customer relationships across all levels.
