We are looking for a proactive and detail-driven Administrator to become an integral part of our welcoming and fast-paced primary care team. In this vital role, you'll help keep our operations running smoothly by supporting day-to-day tasks, streamlining processes, and ensuring patients and healthcare professionals receive exceptional service every step of the way.
Haven Health is located in Felixstowe with easy access and within 20 minutes of Ipswich.
While primary care experience is preferred, training will be provided in areas where the candidate may be unfamiliar.
Main duties of the job
* Providing administrative support across the practice
* Managing the completion of medical reports and insurance requests
* Managing petty cash and reconciliation
* Preparing and creating clinical rotas
* Maintaining accurate data entry into the clinical system (SystmOne)
* Supporting clinicians and management with daily tasks and projects
* Ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection standards
* Liaising with patients, GPs, nurses, and external healthcare providers

Job responsibilities
The Medical Administrator role is to oversee and take responsibility for the administrative aspects of the practice. You will work as part of a team of administrators responsible for various duties and accountable to the Manager and Partners.
You will work closely with all members of the practice to meet partnership goals within a profitable, efficient, safe, and effective environment, maintaining a happy and committed team.
