Description We have new opportunity for an Energy & Utilities Manager to join the Guinness team on a permanent basis. We currently offer hybrid working. About the role Reporting to the Head of Environmental Sustainability, you will be responsible for the management and procurement of energy and utility contracts and projects, along with the management and monitoring of environmental data systems. You will conduct complex analysis of data to contribute towards the organisation becoming net zero carbon by 2050. What we’re looking for This role would suit someone with a background of working in a similar role for a housing provider, local authority, or large property company. We are looking for some with excellent analytical skills who can follow through and propose suitable solutions. You will need to be self-driven and with the ability to work independently. Essential skills and experience: Experience of working in an energy and utilities-based role Excellent knowledge of government policy/ legislation on utilities. Experience with reporting packages, databases (SQL etc.), programming (XML, JavaScript) and experience using statistical packages for analysing datasets (Systemslink, SPSS etc.) Experience with housing specific packages such as Parity Portfolio or other equivalent Property Energy Data Software. Highly numerate with analytical experience, to include data modelling and analysis of large technical data sets. Project management Desirable: Knowledge of EV Charging solutions and the ability to advise on appropriate tariffs and accounts for our residents. Knowledge about renewable technologies and the ability to advise on appropriate tariffs/support for our residents. Essential Qualifications: Member of Energy Manager Association or equivalent Level 3 Advanced Energy Manager (AEM) qualification or similar Desirable: Level 6 (Degree) in Data Science/Data Management (Java Script, Python and SQL) or equivalent If you are interested in finding out more about the key responsibilities of the role and/or to ensure you meet the essential criteria, please review the attached role profile.
