About Options Aberdeen
Aberlour Options Aberdeen is a short breaks service supporting children, young people and their families affected by disability. This includes provision of overnight, outreach and community based short breaks as well as care at home. The service aims to provide holistic support to children and families that promotes and develops resilience. Aberlour Options Aberdeen has two premises based in Bucksburn and Garthdee, and you will support service delivery across both premises as well as community and home based supports.
What we are looking for:
1. Experience working in disability services.
2. Confidence to guide and direct the provision of care to children and young people.
3. Ability to mentor and support staff, delivering excellence in services.
4. Skills in assessing, planning, and delivering services.
5. Good written communication skills for sensitive and accurate reporting.
This role offers the opportunity to consolidate and build on your experience combined with the ability to enhance your skills and knowledge through training, and taking additional supportive roles within the services to develop key skills and knowledge through training and development of staff.
As part of the management team you will play an active role in ensuring that shift duties are delegated and completed in accordance with service guidance.
