Description Minimum Age – 25 Disclosure Checks – DBS Enhanced Is driving essential for the role? - No What we need you to do: We are looking for dedicated reliable volunteers to assist within our services. The ideal volunteer will support out team of dedicated staff to deliver sessions to our young people within the school environment. Be over 25yrs, with access to suitable private accommodation. Be able to provide an evening meal and breakfast in the morning Agree to maintain regular communication with Nightstop staff and share any relevant information you receive as a host. Agree to attend supervision, training, and support meetings Be able to commit to the scheme and offer at least 3 days per month of availability. What skills and experience do you need: · To be warm & friendly with an understanding of issues faced by homeless young people (full training provided) · A sense of humour and approachable nature. · The ability to set out appropriate boundaries.. A Willingness to listen. · To work within Action for Children and Nightstop’s policies and procedures, particularly Child Protection and Confidentiality.
