One You Lincolnshire is an Integrated Healthy Lifestyle Service which has been supporting local residents, since July 2019, with Smoking Cessation, Weight Management, Alcohol Reduction, Physical Activity and Health Coaching. More recently the service has expanded to offer Child and Family Weight management, and Strength and Balance for adults aged 65. A typical day as a Remote Stop Smoking Practitioner might include : Delivering evidence-based interventions that focus on smoking cessation, behaviour change, and psychological support to save lives by helping smokers quit for good Running telephone/video link smoking clinics and working with clients on a one-to-one basis to support them with their quit attempt Working with partner organisations to create referral routes and continually strive to surpass targets Ensuring an excellent and safe experience for clients, in alignment with our policies and procedures Engaging in training relevant to your role, such as NCSCT Stop Smoking training and Behaviour Change Level 1 and 2 Ensuring due consideration is given to Information Governance and Clinical Governance legislation, requirements and guidance Working with colleagues across all of our Thrive Tribe services to contribute to new projects and service developments – we’re always looking to share knowledge and resources Helping us maintain the ethos of Thrive Tribe by driving our organisational culture forward across our services and using every opportunity to embed our values About You More than anything, we are looking for a team player who puts their heart in to their work. To work with us in this role you will need to have delivery experience supporting clients to quit smoking and ideally have completed the NCSCT Stop Smoking Practitioner training modules. We are open between 8am – 8pm Monday to Friday, and there may be opportunities to work Saturdays, therefore we will be especially happy to hear from applicants who are looking for working patterns across these opening times.
