Deputy Headteacher Aspiring Foundations Federated Nursery Schools (Ditton Nursery School and Warrington Road Nursery School) Salary: L1 – 5 £49,781 - £54,939 Hours: Full-time Contract type: Permanent Reporting to: Headteacher Responsible for: Teachers and support staff We are a federation of 2 maintained Nursery Schools looking for an experienced, imaginative and innovative leader with a passion for Early Years education. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate that they have the ability to inspire and motivate a team to ensure that both staff and children achieve their full potential. The post will initially be based at Ditton Nursery School however cross federation work will be required. We are seeking a leader who: Is an excellent Early Years practitioner Has a comprehensive understanding of Early Years education Has experience of adaptive teaching and ensuring the needs of all children are met, including those with SEND Has experience of middle or senior leadership Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills Can inspire and lead a creative and committed staff team Can inspire and nurture an existing team of strong practitioners Can support and drive high expectations, the ethos, aims and values of our federation Candidates should want to play a significant role in driving school improvement, leading staff and having a clear, positive impact on children’s outcomes.
