Job Title: IT Service Continuity Manager
Location: Manchester (Tue, Wed, Thu - Onsite)
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated IT Service Continuity Manager (ITSCM) to design, implement, and manage our IT Service Continuity (ITSCM) and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies. The role involves traveling to client offices in Paris, London, and Manchester on a regular basis, working onsite Tuesday through Thursday each week. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of IT infrastructure, ITIL v4 best practices, and will hold relevant certifications in business continuity and disaster recovery.
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Design and align the Business Continuity (BC) and IT Service Continuity strategies with critical business requirements. Define and implement ITSCM frameworks and best practices to ensure consistency and reliability in service delivery.
* Develop and implement comprehensive IT Service Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans, policies, and procedures to support business operations during disruptions.
* Lead and coordinate Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery tests and exercises, including technology failover tests and business-impacting tabletop simulations, to ensure the preparedness of critical IT services.
* Conduct risk assessments and Business Impact Analyses (BIA) to prioritize recovery efforts for critical IT services and business functions in the event of a disruption.
* Maintain and update IT service continuity documentation. Provide training programs to raise stakeholder awareness and ensure business readiness in responding to incidents.
* Monitor the effectiveness of IT service continuity measures, ensure compliance with relevant regulations, and ensure adherence to industry standards.
* Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for Business Continuity Management (BCM) during critical IT service disruptions. Coordinate recovery efforts and proactively communicate with all stakeholders to ensure effective incident response and recovery.
Requirements:
* Expert qualification in ITIL v4 is essential. Professional certifications in Business Continuity (CBCP, MBCP) or Disaster Recovery (DRI, DRCP) are highly desirable.
* Proven experience (5+ years) in IT service continuity, disaster recovery, or a related field, including managing business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
* Strong experience in risk assessments, business impact analysis (BIA), and the development of continuity and disaster recovery plans.
* Proven ability to manage and execute disaster recovery exercises and present findings to senior leadership.
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to IT continuity and disaster recovery.
* Exceptional leadership and project management skills, with a proven ability to lead complex, high-risk projects and initiatives.
* In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, and application systems.
* Excellent incident management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
