We are seeking professional HGV Class 1 and Class 2 Drivers for 2 leading courier and healthcare brands who operate deliveries and collections throughout the UK. There are roles available at different locations across the country. The roles involve transporting consumer goods, essential hygiene and healthcare products safely and efficiently to distribution centres, hospitals, private and commercial clients. An ADR certification is highly desirable for transporting hazardous goods, though not essential for all the roles we supply.The Responsibilities of this HGV Driver Role:Safely operate an HGV Class 1 (CE) or Class 2 (C) vehicle for multi-drop and bulk deliveries.Ensure timely and professional transportation of goods across the UK.Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects.Comply with tachograph regulations, road laws, and company policies.Load and unload goods when required, ensuring correct handling of materials.Follow ADR regulations when transporting dangerous goods (if applicable).Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork.Uphold high standards of customer service during deliveries.The Requirements of this HGV Driver Role:Valid UK HGV Class 1 (CE) or Class 2 (C) licence.Driver CPC Qualification and Tachograph Card.ADR Certification (Advantageous but not essential) - Categories 2, 3, 6, 8, and 9 preferred.Previous multi-drop or bulk haulage experience (preferred but not essential).Knowledge of UK road transport laws and health & safety regulations.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Physically fit to assist with loading/unloading where required.Flexible approach to shift patterns, including early mornings, nights, and weekends.The Benefits of this HGV Driver Role:Competitive hourly rates (£15 to £18 per hour, dependent on class and experience).Overtime opportunities and shift premiums.Job security with a stable, growing company.Pension scheme & holiday entitlement.Full PPE and company training provided.Career development opportunities, including ADR training for those interested.Don’t miss this chance to grow your career with some of the best distribution firms in the UK.
