Role: Budget & Finance Manager, Capital Budget, Reporting
Location: Belfast, Armagh, Omagh, Dundonald or Ballee (Occasional Onsite)
Responsibilities:
1. Putting together the whole budget
2. Monthly report within the right timeframe
3. Looking after all the queries from the team
4. Understanding of what capital is
5. Sharing this knowledge within the team
6. Payments and accruals
7. Pulling all the corporate reports together
8. Ministerial questions and answers
9. Reviewing work from team members
10. Senior Manager of the team
11. Engaging and communicating at all levels
Essential Qualifications:
Qualified accountant.
Additional Responsibilities:
Manage the delegated budget. Ensure compliance with finance and procurement policies. Provide procurement advice. Manage finances, assets, and payroll reconciliation. Identify and gain agreement for measures to deliver budget efficiencies through cost-savings, re-allocation of financial resources, or external sourcing of services. Ensure regular review of expenditure takes place. Assist and support budget holders to scrutinise their own budgets. Production of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial accounts, forecasts, and budgets as required.
