The Role:
We are looking for someone driven with good interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn our business while supporting the company’s purpose and values. You will have good attention to detail, be able to work in a fast-paced environment juggling multiple duties at once. Strong IT skills are a must, as much of the role involves working on a number of administrative tasks on our ERP systems and Excel.
As Supply Chain Assistant, you will work closely with both our RHD (warehouse) and transport planning teams and customers to ensure we are delivering a world-class customer experience. You will be responsible for delivering on the below responsibilities:
* Responsible for the smooth running of daily picking activity across our Midlands based suite of warehouses.
* Acting as the focal point of communication between the Planning team and the RHD team.
* Quickly resolving customer order queries, errors, amendments, and additions to outbound sales orders.
* Management of booking in deliveries with customers in a timely manner while building relationships with our customers' goods in teams.
* Management of GRN data and archives.
* Assisting our warehouse and data team with stock management ensuring our system reflects physical warehouse stock holding.
* Assisting the data team with item/customer/vendor data queries, ensuring the data on the system is correct.
* Responsible for providing PODs on request to sales and/or customers.
* Daily checkpoint updates around picking progress and driver issues, identifying potential bottlenecks or non-conformances in advance.
* Supporting Sales Return processes for customer collections, syncing warehouse operations with our planning team and Quality department.
* Supporting our Goods-in Team and procurement Team with date changes, quantity amendments ensuring goods are booked in correctly.
* Support and cover all office admin duties during any leave of absence.
* Supporting our Fulfilment division when required during busy periods.
