About the Gloucestershire Respiratory Service
The Gloucestershire Respiratory Service is a countywide integrated service linking in with primary care and secondary care services. There are four arms to the service which are:
1. Home Oxygen assessment and management including the use of blood gases to direct treatment decisions
2. Respiratory Assessment and treatment
3. Pulmonary Rehabilitation
4. Physiotherapy Clinic for patients with suspected breathing pattern disorders and sputum retention problems
This role involves providing administrative support to all of the services listed above. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills at all levels and will be able to have sensitive conversations with patients who have chronic conditions via email and telephone. The role involves working closely with two other skilled administrators and a wider multidisciplinary team of 20+ staff. Strong computer skills, the ability and willingness to learn new platforms such as SystmOne, Sunrise, Air Liquide, e-RS are essential.
This role offers an exciting opportunity for a flexible and motivated individual to work alongside Nurses, Occupational therapists, Physiotherapists and therapy assistants. There are other experienced administrators that you would be working alongside.
