An exciting opportunity has arisen for a vibrant, confident person to join our team as Office Manager for our Sterile Service Unit at Ipswich Hospital.
The post involves carrying out general administrative duties in a busy office environment as well as supporting the management in team admin and taking part in audit.
Experience with surgical instruments would be advantageous; however, if you do not have knowledge, training will be provided.

Main duties of the job
Your main responsibilities will include the day-to-day administration for the team.
You will work with the management team to finalize rosters, managing and authorizing annual leave and preparing staff return to work forms.
You will deal with instrument repairs, cross-charging customers for instrument repairs, purchasing new instruments, and managing the Trust ordering system within the unit. You will also order daily, weekly, and monthly for the unit.

* Previous administrative role

* Advanced IT Systems including - Microsoft Office

Qualifications
* GCSE grade 5/C or equivalent in English and Maths
* NVQ level 3 in administration/secretarial or equivalent experience
