I am currently working with a engineering consultancy who have some fantastic development opportunites for Early Careers and Graduates looking to progress in Safety Case. Ideally you will have a good foundation knowledge having just completed a BSC or MSc or perhaps a few years out of education but looking for a hands on employer committed to developing you in line with your personal objectives.

You will likely be working on the next gen nuclear and decommissioning projects but with a company who also works across aerospace, engineering, defense... there are plenty paths to choose.
As a Safety Case Engineer you will get involved with lots of different aspects of the service, some you will hit the ground running some will test you and help you learn with support. Daily duties could look like the following;
1. Assist with the developement of fit for purpose and proportionate safety assessment advice and formal documentation which is in line with the expectations of the client Safety Case Process arrangements.
2. Assist with the development, implementation, maintenance, and review of the Safety Cases and supporting documents, supporting design, construction, and commissioning of the project.
3. You will work collaboratively with other disciplines to support safety case development activities for the facility.
4. You will facilitate communication between relevant stakeholders.
5. You will support engagements with regulatory bodies and other external stakeholders.
6. You will maintain up to date knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory/company policies.

What we are looking for
14. Ideally you will have a degree in a STEM subject or higher specialism in nuclear, engineering, or similair, we have opportunitites for Graduates and higher perhaps 1-3 years in a relevent role.
15. Willing to work and learn and continue with professional and personal development in line with plans.
16. A good knowledge of safety policies and/or nuclear regulations - desirable.
17. Able to write and present information in a clear and conscise manor following reviews.
