ABOUT THE SCHOOLS AND KICKS PROGRAMME
Bradford City F.C Community Foundation is looking for a dedicated, hard-working and adaptable coach to add to our ever-growing team and deliver on our Premier League Kicks Programme and (potentially) after school sessions. The role will require evening work and may require some weekend work; sufficient notice will be provided to the member of staff to do so.
PL KICKS COMMUNITY COACH
Contract Hours: Zero-hour contract. Primarily Wednesdays, 6pm-8pm.
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Keighley, Bradford
Reporting To: Head of Premier League & Business Development and Director of Sport
Salary/Hourly Pay: £10-£15 (depending on experience)
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Kicks Community Coach role requires a dedicated individual who is comfortable with delivering sports sessions as part of the Premier League Kicks programme as well as (potentially) some after-school sports sessions. These sessions will primarily be football-based but some flexibility may be required. Some sessions will run in the evening.
The individual will be based primarily in Keighley, delivering PL Kicks sessions and supporting youth workers in attendance. The individual may also be asked to undertake extra-curricular clubs, mainly after-school.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
* Deliver coaching sessions that are structured, progressive, enjoyable, high quality and participant centred.
* Ensure all sessions are planned, reviewed and delivered to a high standard.
* Undertake administrative tasks related to the post, including, but not limited to, taking registers, consent forms and contacting clubs and schools.
* Oversee health and safety management of sessions.
* Work alongside other coaches, youth workers and management to ensure high quality of sessions.
* Maintain, store and return all equipment on completion of work with Bradford City F.C. Community Foundation.
* Support Bradford City F.C. Community Foundation with delivering the aims, objectives and targets of the organisation.
* Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safeguarding, health and safety, data protection and communications.
* Represent Bradford City FC Community Foundation in a positive light at all times.
* Work within the ethos and values of Bradford City FC Community Foundation and ensure these are embedded into delivery.
* Provide all information required from the Schools which you deliver work in.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential:
* Previous and demonstrable coaching experience
* Level 2 qualification in a sport (e.g. football, cricket, basketball etc)
* An ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and written (including electronically)
* Being organised and reliable
* A passion and enjoyment for working with children and young people
* An understanding of the Premier League Kicks Programme
* Being committed and driven to the aims and objectives of the Community Foundation
* An awareness and understanding of all Community Foundation policies
* Full, clean UK Driving Licence
Desirable:
* AFPE Level 3
* Sport specific Level 3 (e.g. UEFA B licence)
* FA Youth Modules
* Experience delivering the Premier League Kicks Programme
* Experience delivering educational workshops to young people
* Experience working with children/young adults from deprived and challenging backgrounds

TRAINING AND ASSESSMENT
If you are successfully shortlisted, you will be invited to an interview process that may involve a practical assessment. If you are subsequently offered a role, it is important to note that training is mandatory. Where possible, training will take place in the local area where you will be working. The final details of training will be shared with you if you successfully pass the assessment stage.
Pay: £11.44-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 2 per week
