About the Role
As a Peripatetic Deputy General Manager (Clinical) at Barchester, you will travel across your region, primarily supporting our homes in Trowbridge and Warminster. Your key responsibilities will be to manage and develop teams, help deliver high-quality care and service, and implement action plans that meet the needs of our residents.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting General Managers in implementing action plans to meet resident needs
* Leading by example and monitoring standards through regular audits, supervised clinical practice, and regulatory compliance checks
* Developing and delivering strategies to achieve goals
You will work closely with the General Manager to ensure the delivery of exceptional care and service. In their absence, you will take on leadership duties, helping with everything from care standards to motivating your team.

About You
To join us as a Peripatetic Deputy General Manager (Clinical), you must be a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with current NMC registration and a teaching, mentoring or supervision qualification. Previous experience working within a nursing home setting is essential, as is evidence of continual professional development.
We are looking for someone with a successful track record of managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments. Experience in helping residents with different health needs is also important. Additionally, you should have some HR experience, a strong knowledge of sales and marketing, and an understanding of budget management.
You will be compassionate, resilient, and determined to deliver quality care in our engaging and energetic environment. Finally, due to the nature of this role, you must be flexible and willing to travel.
