Endeavour Recruitment is recruiting for a part-time Database Administrator to join their digital solutions & transformation client for a remote contract.
The Project
The client has undertaken a project with a long-term customer of theirs to re-platform their shopping website from a SaaS provider to a hybrid model. From here, our client will be responsible for running the platform.
The website uses an IBM DB2 database, and the team is missing someone with the skills and knowledge of a Database Administrator.
This is a part-time project, and there will be preventative work or regular maintenance which can be the same window each week, two-weeks, month, etc. There will then be reactive work which would need to be on an as-and-when needed basis including out-of-hours.
Requirements
1. Solid understanding and experience with IBM DB2
2. Essential to have a good understanding of IBM WebSphere Commerce (WC v7 or WC v8)/HCL Commerce
3. Experience in retail sector is a bonus
