Senior Business Development Manager opportunity for a Freight Account Manager or Senior Freight Account Manager who is looking for a step up into a more Hunter focused position.
Salary range £50,000 to £65,000 + Company Car or Car Allowance
Earn 20% of your monthly Gross Profit, paid monthly for the life of the account!
Responsibilities / Duties:
1. Telesales, identifying and prospecting new business leads
2. Job costing and preparing quotes
3. Overseeing and operating movement of cargo via Road, Air or Sea Freight
4. Ensuring retention of business
5. Providing a first class customer service
6. Regularly liaising with customers, keeping them informed and dealing with any questions or enquiries
Required Experience:
1. Extensive experience within freight forwarding sales.
2. Experience of generating own sales leads.
3. Experience selling multimodal sea and air services desired but not essential.
4. Experience managing customer accounts and increasing revenue.
5. We will only be considering applicants who have experience and are currently working for a Freight Forwarder or Logistics provider in the UK.
