We are recruiting for amazing Support Workers in Eastleigh. To support 3 gentleman and 1 lady who are all very independent. They are looking for pro-active and engaging support workers to actively support and encourage their independence and promoting life skills, such as preparing and cooking meals, getting involved in activities they love and thrive to do, promote a healthy lifestyle and be involved in household task.
Shift Patterns: 10.30am - 10pm including sleep ins, with a follow-on shift of 7am-10.30am. Day shifts 10am to 5pm. You will have an element of lone working, you must be required to complete 1 sleep in a week and have flexibility to work alternative weekends
Gender is a genuine occupational requirement in accordance with paragraph 1 of Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.
The role will involve:
- Helping people learn the skills they need to live the life they choose
- Supporting with finances
- Support with shopping, housework including cleaning and laundry
- Supporting with medication
- Supporting and encouraging people to find opportunities in education, employment and leisure, and enable them to take part in these opportunities
