The successful post-holder will spend 50% within the Postgraduate Medical Education Team at GWH. The remaining sessions, 50% will be spent working clinical in the department of older persons. 2. The successful applicant will undertake the below duties, these are not definitive and may be changed in accordance with the needs of the service and the level of training attained by the candidate. 3. Take a history and examine patients. 4. Identify and synthesise problems. 5. Prescribe safely. 6. Keep accurate and relevant medical records. 7. Complete discharge summaries in a timely fashion and be responsible for the prescribing of discharge medication. 8. Manage time and clinical priorities effectively. 9.
