Job Description
* Oversee the human resources department and its daily operations
* Ensure the organisation's HR policies align with current legislation
* Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution
* Coordinate recruitment processes, from job posting to onboarding
* Handle performance management procedures
* Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organisation's objectives
* Manage employee benefits programmes
* Report on HR metrics to inform management decisions
The Successful Applicant
A successful HR Officer should have:
* Proven experience in a similar HR role within the public sector
* Knowledge of HR systems and databases
* Understanding of UK labour laws and disciplinary procedures
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
* A degree in Human Resources or a related field
