Community Service Matron - Charnwood Hub
6 months Secondment
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated senior nurse to undertake a period of secondment into the Community Service Matron post in Charnwood Hub.
We are looking for a forward thinking, creative individual with a can do attitude. You must be clinically competent and have proven operational and clinical leadership skills, with a desire to ensure that the workforce you lead delivers the highest standards of care to all patients.
You will have up to date knowledge of the current national and local agendas and a comprehensive understanding of the clinical priorities for the service.
You will be required to work flexibly and be adaptable to accommodate a challenging and changing environment.
You will work collaboratively alongside the Operational Leads, Deputy Heads / Head of Nursing and other senior leaders within the Community Health Services directorate.
You will participate with multi-agency partners to create development opportunities to meet the changing health needs of the population.
You will be supported in the transition into the role by the existing Community Service Matron for the hub and by the wider matron team. A development plan will be created with you to enable your progression and professional development, and to prepare you for future permanent opportunities.
It is an essential requirement that you have a car for work use and have a UK driving licence.
