Objectives
To carry out all aspects of sales progressing, as well as other general office duties. To ensure that all Company policies and procedures applicable to your area of responsibility are adhered to at all times.
Reports to:
Sales Progressor will report to the Sales Operations Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
* Responsible for the progressing of sold vehicle orders from point of order to pre-handover across Van, Truck, New and Used.
* Booking of sold vehicle PDI, dealer fit work & communicate to Sales Admin.
* Co-ordination of pre-delivery contractor work required in line with customer delivery date.
* Strict & structured progressing & chasing of vehicles through body builder schedules – with focus on ensuring delays are minimized.
* Focus on dealer stocking charges – working in line with stocking allowance and provisions made for stocking.
* Use of dealer reporting to identify delays and escalate as required.
* Rectification of damage and subsequent claims with MB/DT.
* Used Vehicle preparation:
o Used vehicle inspection programme.
o Liaise with UVSM on defects & authorisation.
o Co-ordinated approach with Sales Technician.
o Schedule work with paint shop, tyres, dents.
o Progress vehicle from arrival to advertising in a timely manner.
* Work with driver team to book any vehicle movements, body builder or transfer collections.
Skills and Requirements:
* Previous experience in motor industry is essential.
* Strong administration knowledge to include proficient IT skills including Excel.
* Strong self-organisational skills with a keen eye for attention to detail.
* Possess a calm and even temperament.
* Ability to handle pressure without it affecting working relationships and effectiveness.
Key Performance Measures
* Accurate processing of vehicles under your control, maintaining a constant focus on CSI performance.
* Proactively organise daily tasks to ensure prioritisation of customer orders and time frames, expectations are met.
* Is continually thorough and accurate in the role, to include using the systems and procedures in place to ensure that the expected high levels of accuracy are achieved.
