Whether it be a refinance, funding growth or releasing equity, we help clients to reduce balance sheet stress, generate cash and find the best source of capital to support their business objectives. We are now looking to further grow the team with the addition of a Senior Associate to be based in Manchester or Leeds. Our DCA team forms part of our wider Deals business. We work closely across Deals (and wider PwC teams) to ensure we give the best advice to our clients. Given the nature of our services, the work in Deals is varied, often fast paced and calls on commercial, analytical and interpersonal skills. The team can offer the successful candidate experience across a wide variety of engagements with significant opportunities for self-development. Our work typically involves advising companies on: Evaluating business plans for robustness and sensitivity Capital structure analysis Financial modelling and debt capacity analysis Assessing financing products and markets Managing ongoing relationships with potential funders Organising and managing funding competitions Preparing management presentations and information memoranda Assessing financing offers and negotiating terms and conditions Advising management teams on financing decisions Responsibilities Within DCA you’ll work as part of a diverse team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex financing issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this level include but are not limited to: Contributing to discussions around potential financing solutions most suitable for the client and their financing needs Undertaking analysis of the debt capacity of a business - quantitative and qualitative Helping to prepare management presentations and information memoranda Reviewing business plans and management assumptions Attending meetings with various lenders and lawyers in order to increase your knowledge of the debt markets and to broaden your network Gradual understanding of financial legal documentation Building and maintaining rapport with senior clients on engagements (generally c-suite, MDs and Investment Directors Essential skills and experience required Our work focuses on raising debt financing for a range of companies in the mid-market, including private equity and privately owned businesses.
