SEO Executive

We are recruiting for an SEO Executive to join our vibrant Marketing team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Primarily responsible for the outreach campaigns and link-building activities for Cartridge People to webmasters, journalists and influencers as required. Build relationships with those in industries relevant to the brand.
2. Track and report on coverage success and link opportunities.
3. Analyse content marketing metrics and make changes as needed.
4. Create content marketing campaigns to drive leads and subscribers and use SEO best practices to generate traffic on the website.
5. Provide regular support to the Ecommerce Content Writer. Distribute tasks and conduct annual/probation reviews and 1:1s as necessary.
6. Regularly produce various content types, including email, social media posts, blogs, and white papers.
7. Plan and execute outreach strategies to drive performance. Use analytic tools to extract information and evaluate strategy. Report the effectiveness of strategy to senior management.
8. Collaborate with the Head of Marketing and wider teams to see projects through to completion. Use analytic tools to evaluate success, implement changes and design future campaigns for wider business projects.
9. Conduct SEO technical audits on the website and report on findings.
10. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and developments within SEO and the brand product range.
Skills Required:
1. 2 years minimum experience in an SEO role.
2. Excellent understanding of analytic tools and website data: Google Analytics, Search Console, Semrush.
3. Able to demonstrate and convey current data accurately.
4. Strong communicator, both written and spoken.
5. Very high level of written English, good understanding of grammar.
6. Confident user of Microsoft packages- especially Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.
7. Attention to detail, high levels of accuracy.
8. Ability to work independently.
9. Helpful, keen to learn; positive ‘can do’ attitude.
10. Team player.
Desirable but not essential:
Degree in English, Journalism, or SEO specific higher qualification.
