Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Job Duties:
* Providing support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities in a classroom setting
* Assisting students with educational activities and tasks as directed by the teaching staff
* Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
* Supporting the teacher in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) for students
* Assisting with behaviour management and maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment
Required Qualifications:
* Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
* Experience working with individuals with learning difficulties or disabilities
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Educated to at least GCSE level in English and Maths
Experience:
Prior experience working with individuals with learning difficulties or disabilities
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of different learning needs and strategies to support them
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
* Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
* First Aid certification
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in a classroom environment, providing support to students with diverse learning needs. The work may involve some physical activity and the need to adapt quickly to changing situations. The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff and other support assistants to ensure the best possible learning outcomes for all students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
