Fuel Sales Manager
Location: Halifax, UK
Salary: £35,000 + Healthy Commission (OTE)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
About the Company: A nationwide leader in fuel infrastructure maintenance, offering a comprehensive range of services including bulk fuel tank cleaning, fuel testing, and polishing for both public and private sector organisations. As a rapidly growing company, we are looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager with experience in the fuels industry to join our dynamic team and drive sales growth.
The Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fuel Sales Manager to maintain and develop relationships with both new and existing customers. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in the fuels industry, demonstrating strong sales acumen and relationship management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers through outbound calls, emails, Microsoft Teams, and occasional site visits.
2. Proactively generate new business opportunities within the fuels sector.
3. Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure all leads are followed up regularly.
4. Prepare and present tailored written quotes to prospective clients.
5. Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by management.
6. Collaborate with the sales team, sharing insights and strategies to strengthen overall performance.
Requirements:
1. Must have experience within the fuels industry.
2. Proven track record in sales and business development, preferably in a B2B environment.
3. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
5. Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-focused.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
7. Full UK driving licence.
