Lecturer in Games Design
Within the range of £27,027 to £40,872 per annum, pro rata (Working 14 hours per week, this equates to £10,810 to £15,181 per annum)

We are seeking a professional with expertise in Games Design, including games development and concept, to teach on our Level 1 & 2 Provision in Games Design and Game Arts at the Leiston Campus. This role will involve teaching across a breadth of practical and theoretical units. You should have the ability to teach a wide range of design focused games design skills, including strong knowledge of programming. You should also have experience with Adobe suite- Premier pro, Photoshop & OBS. Furthermore, you should have a basic understanding of Game Engine; Game Maker Studio, Renpy and Construct with experience in design; specialising in 3D modelling, texturing and game design theory.
You should have a good standard of education including Maths and English to Level 2, a Degree in a games-related area (or equivalent professional qualification) and a teaching qualification or the commitment to obtaining one within a specified time after commencement of employment. You may also be required to undertake relevant quality assurance training and certification to meet UAL awarding body requirements for assessment and internal verification of student work.
