This is a really exciting time to join us as we develop new systems and processes to ensure we have, and maintain a central source of accurate data to support international trade compliance. The International Product Compliance Administrator role is an essential part of the process to ensure we optimise the product that we can sell in our international markets enabling us to continue to grow, whilst ensuring we comply with all market legislation. We collect and maintain accurate product and supplier data from external and internal functions, to support the movement of goods outside of the UK. We work closely with suppliers supporting them to provide all information accurately and on time. This includes supporting with supplier and product set up processes.
The Role
Key Responsibilities:
* Working with several internal teams such as Category, Supply Chain, International and our Distribution Team, support the International Data function to maintain accurate information specifically in relation to exporting products outside of the UK.
* Managing all essential administrative activities required to monitor, maintain and audit accurate product data.
* Support suppliers with access to, and completion of data in internal systems.
* Support the team with building and maintaining relationships with suppliers to ensure their understanding of requirements and ongoing compliance.
* Maintain an accurate log of actions to support progress reporting, auditing and escalations.
* Support with data management and cleansing, understanding the consequences of inaccurate data.
* Use available data sets to identify inconsistencies and take corrective action.
Location:
This role is based in Nuneaton, and may be occasionally required to travel to our London Hub or to any other location of H&B. We support flexibility and productivity of our employees by hybrid working arrangements with minimum 2 days presence in the office.
The Person
Key Requirements:
* Experience of collecting and maintaining data, ideally within a retail or supply chain role.
* Can identify and understand the consequences of “bad” data or “bad data practices” and recognise potential issues.
* Able to manage changing priorities as required without losing sight of any outstanding actions.
* Excellent attention to detail with a logical, analytical approach to working with large data sets.
* Advanced user of all Microsoft Office tools especially Excel – XLOOKUPS/VLOOKUP's/Formulas.
* Technically confident in exploring opportunities to improve efficiencies in processes and accuracy, visibility, and assessment of data.
* Track record of working independently at times, and able to self-motivate in a fast-moving working environment.
* Strong communication skills and an ability to build relationships - confident working vertically across several internal functions and with suppliers.
