Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive NEBOSH / IOSH qualified Facilities Assistant to join our team. Reporting to the Head of Facilities UK, the Facilities Assistant is to provide Facilities Services and general assistance, including but not limited to ensuring the building and facilities are maintained in good order, Guest Services, Hospitality, Post Room, printing, photocopying and binding and archiving services in order to support the smooth running of the office.
Previous facilities management experience is a must, preferably in a professional services, financial services office environment or business centre with multiple professional clients. Communication skills, excellent personal presentation and a positive, service-first attitude are absolutely essential.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Carry out a range of Facilities Duties following the Group Facilities Framework, including but not limited to:
1. Liaising with all office and building service providers and landlord in respect of ongoing building maintenance;
2. Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing
3. Pest Control
4. Office Cleaning
5. Vending
6. Procure/repair Office furniture as and when required
7. First line responder for call outs and out of hours planned maintenance
