We have an exciting opportunity for a Cafe Manager to join the Community Hubs Team, working between Cramlington Hub and Newbiggin Sports & Community Hub.
The successful applicant will be required to direct the work of a team of Community Hub Support Assistants, apprentices and learners to provide a professional, customer orientated Cafe, Event and Bar service, providing fresh food and drinks for community hub users.
Duties include the management of food preparation and cooking, serving customers, use of a traditional barista style coffee machine, event support including buffets and meals, bar service, cash controls including banking, ordering and stock taking, and cleaning duties as required.
The Learning Cafe Manager will support the provision of Weddings, Special events and corporate hospitality in the community hub.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a catering environment, supervisory experience, and knowledge of Food Safety and Health and Safety principles.
This role involves one shift weekly at Newbiggin Hub and three shifts at Cramlington Hub, an exact working pattern to be discussed at the interview.
