Role Overview:
AEC is one of the largest BOHS asbestos course providers in the UK, delivering world-class asbestos and health & safety training. Ourground breaking practical training centre offers much more than a traditional classroom environment, giving our delegates a fully immersive ‘real-world’ experience.
As an Asbestos Trainer, you will join our highly successful training department. You will be a dynamic communicator and adaptable in your teaching style and materials to conduct face-to-face, virtual, and on-the-job asbestos training, with measurable results. You’ll have the opportunity to design and develop training materials while ensuring courses run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging BOHS, IATP, and accredited courses, plus internal staff training.
* Create a dynamic learning environment that captivates participants.
* Assess learner needs and adapt strategies for maximum success.
* Design top-tier training materials to suit all learning styles.
* Ensure seamless course delivery with high delegate satisfaction.
* Travel and work weekends when required to meet training needs.
* Collaborate with trainers, administrators, and management to optimise training.
* Attend monthly training meetings to align with company goals.
* Coordinate with trainers to maximise use of the practical training area.
* Provide coaching, feedback, and support to empower learners.
* Build strong client relationships to meet their training needs.
* Digitise documents and generate certificates quickly and accurately.
* Stay ahead of industry trends and continuously elevate training programmes.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years of on-site experience, with BOHS qualifications (P401-P405) and/or CoCA.
* Strong background in asbestos and/or health & safety.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and educate diverse audiences.
* Adaptable and flexible approach to training and scheduling.
* Passionate about making a meaningful impact in the industry.
