RG Consultancy are working with an excellent company based in Burnley, Lancashire who are looking to add an Accounts Assistant to their team. Due to growth the company have expanded their team recently and this role is to replace someone who is due to retire. This Accounts Assistant role would be responsible for working on the sales & purchase ledgers and general day-to-day finance admin including credit card and bank reconciliations. Duties include: Purchase ledger - matching invoices to delivery notes and gaining approval before processing onto the system Supplier statement reconciliation Bank reconciliations BACs payment runs Assist with VAT returns Resolving any invoice discrepancies Sales ledger - creating and sending invoices Monitoring of accounts inbox Support Finance Director with month end This Accounts Assistant role would be ideal for someone with experience working in an accounts office and is confident with working independently.
