DO YOU WANT TO WORK WITHIN A NURSERY? Monarch education, part of affinity workforce, are working closely with a nursery in Gaydon who are looking for a nursery assistants to join their team. Ideally this will be full time but part time hours will be considered for the right candidate. Shift rotation (with early/mid/late shifts), working hours are between 8:00am and 6:00pm. The candidate will be IDEALLY have nursery experience and ideally a Level 3 childcare or early years, or equivalent, qualifications include: NVQ level 2/3 Childcare and Education, NVQ Level 2/3 Early years care and education, CACHE level 3 diploma in Childcare and Education, Foundation/honours degree in Early Childhood Studies and be able to obtain reference over the last 2 years to prove this. Key Responsibilities: To support the Nursery Manager and Room Leader in the planning and delivery of exciting and enriching play and learning opportunities. Making sure that children are safe, happy and stimulated To be responsible for the care routines of the children in your group as directed by the Room Leader. Communicating information to children using play To support Room Leader with observational records of the children. Encouraging children's development and creating a child friendly environment Personal care, eg, changing of nappies To actively support a two-way flow of information between the nursery and parents/carers of the children.
