Project Engineer to join a leading provider of innovative engineering and design solutions. The Project Engineer will be contributing to the development and enhancement of cutting-edge products across various industries. Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and support Project Engineer initiatives from concept through to implementation, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project budgets.
2. Develop and refine manufacturing processes, equipment, and workflows to improve efficiency and product quality.
3. Conduct design work using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) to create and modify engineering components and assemblies.
4. Oversee the procurement, installation, and validation of new equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and quality assurance, to optimize product development and manufacturing processes.
6. Carry out risk assessments and compliance evaluations for equipment and processes, addressing any potential safety or operational concerns.
7. Provide technical support and training to staff on new and existing equipment and processes.
8. Manage supplier and stakeholder communication, ensuring alignment with Project Engineer objectives and operational needs.
9. Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing process optimizations and cost-saving measures.
10. Maintain technical documentation, including specifications, validation reports, and engineering drawings, in accordance with industry standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
1. Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, or a related field) or equivalent industry experience.
2. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) for design and technical drawings.
3. Experience managing Project Engineer tasks in a manufacturing or product development setting.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to technical challenges.
5. Understanding of quality assurance principles, regulatory compliance, and validation processes.
6. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
7. Experience within regulated industries such as medical devices, aerospace, or automotive manufacturing.
8. Familiarity with lean manufacturing methodologies and process optimization.
9. Knowledge of BS8888 technical drawing standards and industry-specific regulations.
10. Exposure to automation and advanced manufacturing technologies.
