We are now recruiting for a Recoveries Controller to join us, reporting to the Free Trade Credit & Recoveries Manager. Key Accountabilities: To manage a caseload of pre-legal recovery files, including: Maximising the collection of overdue accounts, and where possible ensuring continued sales Balanced approach towards recovery of debt ensuring recovery cost is taken into consideration when decisions are made or are referred to the Credit Manager Dispute / query management to be dealt with in a timely manner to assist with repayment of debt Dealing effectively with customers that default from their payment terms by negotiating, and agreement of repayment plans whilst ensuring the companies credit policy is adhered Develop positive stakeholder relationships with our internal business partners ensuring communication between the teams is maintained. Communicate in a professional manner and negotiate with debtors and 3rd parties to maximise net recover for the business. Ensure the Credit Manager is regularly updated and that areas of concern are highlighted, c ompletingreports for theCredit Manager and the wider business. Review and maintain accurate recovery database records and master data records by actioning housekeeping reports promptly and ensuring compliance with GDPR rules including the closed account process. Liaise with the in-house Litigation team to identify any concerns and share with Credit Manager. Contribute to successful team culture, building relationships and helping to develop and maintain a high-performance team ethos. Experience and Key Attributes required: Experience in a Collections / Recovery role or experience within the brewing industry and a desire to work in Debt Recovery Aptitude for problem solving with the ability to work using their own initiative; with a drive for continuous development Have worked in an organisation which is fast paced, demanding and results driven Working as part of a larger team contributing and delivering joint objectives as well as individual Awareness of Money Laundering, Fraud prevention, Data Protection/GDPR Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail Ability to handle difficult conversations and confident working solely as well as in a team Ability to prioritise and plan daily tasks without need for referral Excellent organisational skills and time management skills Working knowledge of ERP(SAP), 365 Office Apply today and a member or the recruitment team will be in touch PursuitOfBetter ADZN1_UKTJ
