Ancillary Support Engineering Apprentice
Glenair UK are seeking an enthusiastic and eager-to-learn Ancillary Support Engineering Apprentice to join our dynamic team.
The successful candidate will receive comprehensive training and mentorship while assisting in the maintenance and support of both Mechanical and Electrical equipment in the Ancillary department, including crimp machines, etching machines, laser markers, cable cut equipment, and cable stripping machines. This apprenticeship provides a hands-on learning experience, fostering the development of problem-solving skills and technical expertise in a supportive environment.
The apprenticeship programme will provide an individual with full training both internally and externally over approximately 36 months + EPA depending on the candidate’s current knowledge skills and qualifications. The candidate must be willing to travel and attend Chesterfield college on a day release to gain essential knowledge and experience to complete the full apprenticeship programme eventually leading to attaining a Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship.
Job Requirements:
Entry requirements: Candidates should be self-motivated and have or expect to achieve at least three GCSE’S at grade 4 - 9, including Maths, English and a Science subject.
Working hours: Monday - Friday - 40 hours per week
