My client is going through a large regeneration of the town, focusing on residential and commercial projects.
They need an experienced person currently in a Technical Manager role, who has supervised or led small teams.
You will be brought on to develop, manage, and monitor the design and build process for the Horton Heath programme, ensuring all strategic outcomes are delivered and that the project meets all legislative, regulatory, and health and safety obligations, as well as the excellence and quality that the project aspires to. You will provide technical management and input in terms of design, feasibility, value engineering, planning surveys, and sustainability strategy, and provide a clear energy strategy in line with requirements. You will be working closely with a varied team and liaising with sub-contractors, managing the production and review of design information and details during the pre-contract and construction phases. You will ensure the build is kept to legislative standards and provide regular reports and certificates at crucial stages of the development, including the pre-construction stages. Through commercial and technical awareness, maximize design efficiency and profitability within identified approval constraints.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Design feasibility/review
2. Value engineering
3. Planning surveys
4. Energy strategy
5. Sustainability
6. Construction techniques
7. Commissioning Pre-Construction Stage Planning and Feasibility Reports
8. Managing assessments such as Arboriculture, Archaeological, Acoustic, Ecology, Fire Risk Assessment, Flood Risk Assessment, Traffic & Transport, Soil Investigation, and Soakage Tests.
You will need to either be working for a local government across their regeneration of houses or commercial buildings, or work for a house builder across multiple plots and have examples of proven design work to show the client. You must be in a Technical Manager role. #J-18808-Ljbffr
