We are looking for a candidate to work full time ( hours, Monday-Friday) and support our secretarial team,based at Quay House Medical Centre.
Theapplicant will need to have a keen eye for detail, ability to work to process, complete work efficiently and within KPIs, possess a good telephone manor,have good communication skills, and be a team player whocan also work well independently.

Main duties of the job
Therole of the Secretarial Administrator is to support the secretarial team bycompleting the less complex tasks, which would include:
6. Co-ordinate and work up SARS requests, confirm verification in place, on spreadsheet for processing and process using IGPR software under supervision of secretarial team
7. SBAR and District Nurse Communications
8. Docman Tasks ie sending patient summaries
9. Diabetic Specialist Nurse Referrals
10. E-mail Monitoring : Sorting and actioning information request e-mails
11. Managing telephone enquiries
12. Scanning notes for reports/SARS for notes filed at QHMC
13. Raising invoices
14. Physio referrals
15. Basic paperwork
16. Emis tasks
17. Diabetes Prevention Referrals
18. Queries re waiting times
19. Healthy lifestyle Referrals
20. Falls clinic Referrals
21. Semen Analysis
22. Choose & Book worklist
23. Pull notes for deductions /SARS
24. Department of Works and Pensions Reports
25. LG Notes management at QH
Scan documents, taking account of colour, paper size, and multi-pageddocuments, into patients notes and workflow accurately and correctly
26. Code range of clinical details into notes in linewith agreed protocols/procedures
Send letters to patients for follow up appointmentsas necessary ( contraception, TOP etc) using relevant templates
