Hours: 8:30-15:30 Monday to Friday
Location: Derby, DE23
Pay: £86 - £100 per day (permanent vacancies also available)
Job Summary:
Bookmark Education are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils within a mainstream primary school in Derbyshire.
As a SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) Teaching Assistant, you will provide essential support to students with special educational needs, ensuring they receive the care and guidance necessary to achieve their full potential. This position requires empathy, patience, and the ability to work closely with students, teachers, and other professionals to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities:
* Provide pastoral and academic support to pupils.
* Assist the class teacher with lessons, handing out materials and monitoring behaviour.
* Provide targeted support for pupils with SEN/Special Educational Needs e.g. ASD/Autism
Requirements:
* Previous experience working as a TA/Teaching Assistant or LSA/Learning Support Assistant within a school or similar relevant experience working with children.
* Kind and caring persona, willing to be hands on and proactive.
* Either have a DBS check already or be willing to submit a DBS application.
