We are looking to recruit afull-time Mobile Cleaning Operative to work across our sites in the North-West. The requirements of the mobile cleaning operative role are to provide absence and holiday cover for our on-site operatives and attend sites to improve cleaning standards providing our clients with exceptional standards. A valid driving licence is required, as the role involves travel between sites. You will be contracted to 37.5 hrs of cleaning services per week, working Monday to Friday and weekend work is required on a rota. Our sites are located in the North-West covering Preston, Chorley, Blackpool, Chester, Wirral, Manchester & Greater Manchester areas. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, have excellent attention to detail, and be able to work independently or as part of a team.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
1. Travel to various locations undertaking general cleaning duties such as cleaning, washing, sweeping, vacuum cleaning, emptying of litter bin, polishing and dusting of the designated areas (which may include toilets and shower areas), and fixture and fittings, using where appropriate, powered equipment.
2. The movement of items of furniture.
3. All duties must be carried out to comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act; statutory and company instruction and regulation and any other legal requirements.
4. To relieve and assist in other establishments in certain circumstances.
5. To attend and take all necessary action, statutory and otherwise in the event of accident, fire, loss, theft, lost property, damage, unfit food or other irregularities and complete the necessary return and/or reports.
6. To attend meetings as requested.
7. Duties may vary dependant on the requirement to cover in times of staff absence.
8. Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role.
9. Comply with Company rules, policies and procedures at all times.
It is essential that you have worked in a similar role and enjoy working as part of a busy team. You will have excellent customer service skills and be confident in communicating with clients, patients and colleagues. You will possess high quality commercial cleaning experience. Due to the nature of the role, a valid driving licence is required, and a van and a mobile phone are provided.
Please note the role is subject to a standard DBS check
The normal pattern of work is 2 shifts per day Monday to Friday between the hours of 6am to 12noon & from 4pm to 9pm, however this can vary depending on daily requirements. Weekend work required on rota.
