Key Roles/ResponsibilitiesAs a Nursery Room Leader, you will:
Assist with the implementation of activities that promote linguistic and social interaction among children.Be a key worker for a group of children, observing, monitoring, and documenting their progress in individual online learning journals.Foster strong communication with parents and carers, encouraging their involvement in their child's development.Conduct staff one-on-ones and appraisals, supporting your teams growth and development.Help children acquire essential self-help skills, such as dressing, feeding, and personal hygiene.Ensure the nursery meets safety and hygiene standards, proactively addressing any issues.Stay current with developments in childcare and parent education through ongoing training and reading.Plan and participate in a range of activities aligned with theEYFS (Early Years Foundation Service) Frameworkto meet each child's needs.Be the main contact for your designated nursery room and undertake additional responsibilities as needed.
