To provide specialist on-going education, advice and support to the family in the home environment. To take a proactive role in the education and training of the multidisciplinary team(s), providing on-going supervision and support as an expert resource for all disciplines where neonates require on-going care needs within neonatal outreach. Main duties of the job Exciting New Opportunities United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust is currently seeking dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated experienced Neonatal Nurses, to help with the implementation of a new Neonatal Outreach service. Neonatal Outreach will contribute to the creation of network-wide homecare provision within the East Midlands region. Band 6 Neonatal Nurses based at ULHT are required to promote safe early discharge of babies from the neonatal units at both Lincoln and Boston. Families will be supported to provide ongoing care needs in the home environment, for example the provision of nasogastric tube feeding at home.
